Assembler

Position Summary

• Material handling, Assembly Line, Stocking, Packing, Disassembling.

Principal Duties:

• Kitting up products
• Transferring finished products to correct location
• Keep a clean and safe work area

Qualifications/Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year experience in an assembly setting.
• Handheld barcode scanner experience preferred.

Skills Required

• Physical requirements include: standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; ladder climbing; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting; taking products from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Visual parts identification.
• Must pay close attention to detail, i.e. part numbers and quantities.

• Pallet Jack
• Forklift
• Pneumatic staple guns
• Banding machine
• Tape guns
• Handheld scanner

Other

• Overtime during a busy season.
• Physical inventory count.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or above.
