Application Notes: High Pinion units should only be used in front axle applications. Spool lockers should only be used in rear applications. Spools will be harder on axles than a selectable or automatic locker. Fully built 3rd members will not fit stock Tacoma or T100 axles.
Super Finish™ 3rd members do not require any break-in period.
NOTE: We are in the process of adding ABS sensor ports to our V6 differential housings. They will be provided with a freeze plug to block off the port if you do not have ABS. While we are implementing this change, please call before ordering if you need the ABS port version so we can make sure you get the V6 housing with the ABS port.
Note: Follow Ring & Pinion break-in instructions on the Instructions tab. Failure to do so will void warranty.
NOTE: The 4-cylinder & V6 differentials are meant to be run in the stock position (low pinion). Using these differentials in the high pinion position (“flipping”) will cause the pinion bearings to rapidly fail due to oil starvation and void the warranty. |
