The world's first RC Transmission with DIG just got better! The new R2D enclosed transmission (also known as R2D II) has the following new features:

• Enclosed DIG Transmission, keeps dirt out so the unit stays clean
• Delrin shaft bushings, allows better engagement control
• Full ball bearings
• Single plate DIG unit

What is a DIG? With this transmission, your RC truck will turn in a much smaller radius by keeping the pivot point at the rear axle so the front swings around under power while the rear end is locked. Essentially, no forward motion while turning, so you can turn sharper than you would if you were using four wheel steering.

The DIG transmission offers 3 modes: 4wd, 2wd disconnect, and disconnect with rear axle brake engaged. Servo controlled selection.
